The device is not all the difficult to assemble (But I do with I bought it preassembled). For the expert it probably is OK but most of the rest of us it is difficult to assemble.coul'dve used a bottom shelfGreat desk for the price. I can manage 2 monitors and am ergo keyboard with room for coffee and an ergo mouse on the sides. Haven't tried using it raised up yet, as is it's the perfect height to sit at.great price but not the best table for an even adjustment.
